I am a “forty-something” technology buff, Formula One fan, and avid golfer. A good part of my day is dedicating to consuming as much information as I can stand to digest on the internet.
As a child, I was a bit of a musical prodigy on the clarinet, skipping ahead grades to play in higher level orchestras than was typical for my age group. I eventually burned out on all the lessons and soon after dropped out of school. I then, quite by accident, discovered a unique aptitude for technology. I pursued learning about the emerging IT field virtually on my own throughout the early nineties, forging a fantastic career for myself as I went.
My career in technology has been both as an engineer and as a manager, transitioning later to creative agency work. I’ve been fortunate enough to work at Digital Equipment Corporation, Microsoft, King County in Washington State, and at various local creative agencies in the Seattle area.
Nowadays, I’m the father of a wonderful boy named Sasha, am running a small creative agency, and am focusing on Art Direction and Web Development as part of my day-to-day activities. I can be reached at stephenw_us@live.com.
